How Nu2U Consignments Originated

Nu2U Consignments opened its doors in Forest City, Iowa on September 28, 2009. It is owned and operated by Mary L. Loden of Forest City, Iowa. Mary and her husband Mark have always been entrepreneurs and finally realized their dream of business ownership thanks to the tireless efforts of family and the financial support from the City of Forest City, Iowa.

Nu2U Consignments’ owner is always hearing comments on the catchy store name and asked how she came up Nu2U Consignments. Nu2U Consignments is a spin-off of “new to you” in a cell phone texting format. Since the owner has a teenage daughter and lives in a college town Nu2U Consignments just seemed appropriate and fun.
